Unhappy
stressed out people are unable to perform well in their work and
the personal and financial costs associated with stress are huge.
Sadly
Stress is prevalent in our society and it brings with it huge personal
and financial costs. See Cost of Stress below.
There
are many people who live a “living hell” at work
but eventually something has to give, they either leave, or will
take long term absence from work with enormous risks to the employer.
There are no winners in this situation.

- You could talk to on a regular basis to work though
issues that were holding you back
- Would help you identify and
use problem solving techniques and strategies
- Could help you
move forward on many different levels
Would it reduce
the level of stress in your work and in your life?
If the answer
is Yes or even Maybe, then talk to us. We have a number of options
that are available to you. If you
are not sure if Coaching
is for you or your organisation you can qualify for

Cost
of Stress
Below are some “business sense” reasons for
taking action to prevent and reduce stress at work:
- Rising costs
of stress-related absence and illness. Stress is now the main
cause of absence in the UK, absence that
costs an average of £522 per employee (CIPD survey).
- Exponential growth
in the number of stress claims. Legal cases for compensation increased from
516 in the year 2000
to 6,428 in 2001 (Official TUC statistics).
- New HSE initiatives on stress. Emphasis
on risk assessment and regulation based on pre-determined management
standards
will be implemented between 2003 and 2005.
- Increasing insurance premiums. Over
the last 5 years some organisation's Employer Liability premiums
have increased
by 300% because of pending stress claims.
Our highly participative Stress Management
programmes work through a range of issues, tools and techniques
that
are designed to educate, raise self awareness and inspire participants
to contribute to make changes that are within their capability
and which will
relieve stress,
for themselves and for the people they
interact with.
Where practicalities allow we also offer as part
of our Stress Management packages, Acupuncture and Reiki as
complementary
therapies that are
extremely effective in relieving of stress.
