Working with a professionally
trained Coach is a powerful and rewarding experience that gets
you further than you would get on your own. That is why many of
the world’s top leaders and achievers have a Coach.
We are
focused primarily, but not exclusively, on working with Client
facing personnel, specifically Sales Professionals, Customer
Service representatives, Project Managers and Consultants.
There
are many ways that Coaching can help you to: develop your people
to become better performers, take on more responsibility, manage
change, and achieve business objectives.
When we first work with
you we prefer to spend some time getting to know a bit about
your business and to understand what results
that you want to achieve at the organisational level. We can
then advise you how we can structure Coaching to achieve those
results.
Based on these discussions we will put forward a detailed plan
and proposal to you containing all the relevant information,
including agreed measures of performance so that you can monitor
progress
and
the return on your investment.
You can have a choice of Coaches,
all of whom are professionally trained, and we will agree with
you how they should be allocated
to individuals, groups or teams. Once you are happy with
the plan and terms of agreement have been finalised the Coaching
will commence.
Here is just one example of how a Coach can
work with you:
Example using 1 to 1 Telecoaching
The client is a Financial Advisor
and he is targeted to achieve a level of sales turnover (Goal
1) and a number of new
clients per
annum (Goal 2). Because he travels a lot face to face
Coaching is difficult to organise, so he is receiving a 1
hour Telecoaching
session
each week.
The client phones the Coach each week. Where
possible they try to set a regular day/evening and time each.
The targets
(Goals)
are
discussed to ensure both the client and the Coach
fully understands the context within which they are working
together.
The Goals are then set in terms of value
of sales and number of clients to be achieved within the timescales
of the
agreed Coaching
period
(the number of Coaching sessions within the terms
of
the agreement).
The Coach works with the client
to identify strategies that will lead to the achievement of the
Goals.
These might include
sell
more volume, higher value, cross selling, new
markets, networking, referrals,
linked markets etc.
The Coach encourages and guides
the client to offer new thinking, creativity, ideas, skills
and knowledge,
and
where appropriate
brings their own experience and ideas to the
session. These are captured
and used to establish a number of actions for
each strategy that are to be completed by client
by
the next Coaching
session. The
Coach holds the client accountable for completing
the actions.
The Coach monitors progress throughout,
working with the client to understand what works well
and building
upon
successful strategies. They work together
to identify barriers to performance,
of either
a practical or emotional nature. A professionally
trained Coach
has
a range of Coaching skills and techniques
available to help clients continue to move forward, also
providing lots of
encouragement and motivation.
At the end of
the Coaching period progress is fully discussed and appreciated
and any
learning
points
are highlighted
to enable the
client to continue to benefit from the
Coaching experience in the longer term.
We also offer Team Coaching
and Coach Training.
